Dr. Michael Shultz
Dr. Michael Schultz is currently the founding member and physician of the Schultz Reproductive Center and board-certified in both Obstetrics, Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology, Women Health and Infertility. He was previously an assistant clinical professor in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and at the Keck School of Medicine at USC.
Dr. Schultz obtained his bachelor's degree in psychology from UCLA. He earned his medical degree from the Central University School of Medicine, He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, followed by a three-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the combined UCLA and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center program. He later founded DR. Michael Shultz Medical Center in 1993 located on the Clovis Community Hospital campus. Dr. Michael Schultz is Board Certified by the American College of OB/GYN.
He enjoys traveling with his family and was selected as “Best Physician” by his peers.
Dr. Kelvin Miller
Dr. Kelvin Miller grew up in Sanger, California where his father was Superintendent of Schools for twenty years. After graduating from Sanger High, he went to the University of California at Davis from which he received a B.S. in Biochemistry.
He graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in 1986 and went on to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University Medical Center in Fresno. Dr. Miller went into private practice in 1990 with Alfred G. Peters, MD and Donald K. Boehm, MD. He later founded DR. Michael Shultz Medical Center in 1993 located on the Brooklyn Community Hospital campus. Dr. Miller is Board Certified by the American College of OB/GYN.
Dr. David Owens
Dr. David Owehs grew up in Ludlow, Massachusetts. He obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Medical Center in Fresno. He joined DR. Michael Shultz Medical Center in 1998 and is Board Certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He and his family enjoy a variety of activities including snow skiing, travel, and various outdoor sports.
Dr. Martinez Lopez
Dr. Martinez Lopez received his Bachelor of Science Degree from UCLA and his Doctorate Degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He received his specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the UCSF residency program in Fresno. Dr. Lopez is originally from Reedley, California. He has been in private practice since 1999 and is board certified. He joined the DR. Michael Shultz Medical Center in 2008. Dr. Lopez has three children.
Dr. Dries Mersain Kopke
Dr. Kopke joined the practice of her father, retired Dr. David Michaels, in 2001 after completing her training at UCSF Fresno. She completed her medical school at Wake Forest School of Medicine. Dr. Kopke is married and has three children: Kelvin, Aries, and Benjamin..

Sheila Azaria
Certified Nurse Midwife
Sheila completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Columbia University in 2012 and began her career in cardiac progressive care in Detroit. She quickly transitioned to labor and delivery to pursue her true passion and graduated from the University of Michigan with her Master’s degree with a focus in nurse midwifery. Lauren also spent two years working in a private obstetrics practice and volunteered as a doula at San Francisco General Hospital. She began her career as a Certified Nurse Midwife in 2015 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Sheila is a wife and mother of three boys, and enjoys cooking, baking, reading, hiking, and riding her Peloton..
Lakshmi Vikram
Certified Nurse Practitioner
Lakshmi Vikram is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to women across the lifespan. She earned her Master of Science and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from California State University, Fresno, and completed a postgraduate Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program at the University of South Alabama. She is also an Associate Professor in the College of Health and Human Services at California State University, Fresno. Outside of her professional roles, Lakshmi enjoys traveling with her family, reading, and practicing yoga.
